The first time my backpack

2009 is the year I started to be a tripper... a dream that I have since a long time ago, finally I can catch my dream. Feel so good when you can catch your dream for a long time... and since then I fall in love with that...

So my first trip, me and my friend called "kemping hampir ceria" at SITUGUNUNG

I forgot about the date but we going on April... And what are we? we are just an ordinary people, with a small brain, love doing something stupid and do a crazy, really... we are JUST an ORDINARY PEOPLE who know how enjoyed our life and have F*fun that's us... :D

This trip is a warming up trip if I can say... and I need back to get used with camping thing because I choose a backpacker ways, which mean natural ways, stay at tent, sleeping with sleeping bags and on budget. So because it's been long time I'm not camping, the last time is when I join with a scout at junior high school, I should practice... :D So here I am now.

About the place, SituGunung, is a nature conservation area at Gunung Gede National Park Pangrango, located at Sukabumi. This place is very nature and beautiful, especially the lake in the morning... fiiuhh... it's so cool, so misty. And also you can go to the famous waterfall in there, named CURUG SAWER, nice waterfall, and very freezing water... And there is also, for people who love tracking and a mountain bikers, you should going here... the tracking is pretty nice and hard...but fun...pfft... and also I'm the one who has pretty nails hahaha...

So, this is our itinerary :

We meeting point at UKI, Jakarta at 7pm then go to Sukabumi with the bus. It take a 3 or 4 hours from Jakarta to Sukabumi and we stop at Cisaat then we ride a motorbike to there. And my motorbike that i ride is out of gas while on the road to the place. The moment that I always remember, when we are arrived, is when I see the sky...and I speechless, the sky is very beautiful, it's clear so you can see stars, many stars and the combination with the cloud... aaahh it's so perfect night even my motorbike run out if gas... :)

And Since then every time I go traveling, I choose to sleep at outside than sleep at tent or rooms.

So, We arrived at situgunung gate in the middle of the night and very dark. Need a flashlight to see the path and find the place for camp. After walking in the dark, we finally arrive at a place, not a camp ground but in bungalow yard, and we gonna staying at the yard front of the bungalow... near a broken pier and lake.... And in the night that place is so spooky and also cold..... brrrrr.....

Build a tent, turn on the stove, get a very late dinner with menu INDOMIE with tea and an alcohol hahahaa...and playing card in the gazebo... is it a perfect place....yes it is.... ;) and we finally getting tired and ready to sleep.... zzzzz

In the morning when I open the tent... damn... its very freezing weather and then I saw to the lake.... that was a beautiful morning...a misty lake....and we are waiting for the sunrise. But it's too bad the sunrise is not in a good perform he's say because the cloud cover it... :P 

But that does not preclude our main agenda, which is the narcissistic photo session... hahahhaaha... 

After have a camping fancy breakfast, brush the teeth, and cleaning up the tent and everything, we are ready to go to the CURUG SAWER waterfall. To go there we should walking, and the track is a pretty hard, rocks and a climb path.... it's need +/- one hour until the to the post guard. And when we are arrive we should pay the ticket entry, it should be we do it when we arrive at there but it because we are arrive very late, so we paying in the morning, not too expensive... it's only IDR 6.000 all.

we left all the heavy bags at the post guard to make easy to walk. We just prepared picnic bag for lunch at there. We gonna cooking a "fettuchini streaky beacon" all set and we start treaking to the curug sawer.

 It's a great place, the waterfall and everything is still natural the weather is really cold especially the water brr... its refreshing. Then we all hungry and ready to cook our special menu "fettuccine streaky beacon" its means the main ingredient is fettuccine and streaky beacon it self. fettuccine -check... milk-check, garlic-check, streaky beacon -hmmm where's the streaky beacon? aaahhh someone left the streaky beacon at the post guard... what a dumbest person who left the streaky beacon in there!!! so we change our menu for lunch, we called "fettuccine streaky beacon without streaky beacon" hahahhaha

After we done playing water, we back to the first place to built a tend but, we should wait until dark because the guard didn't allow us to built a tend in that property. So we waste our time just sitting and chat near a lake, make a some joke, take a picture do something silly... :)

 

 









The next morning we prepare to go home and back to the hectic day... But its really good trip for the beginning... :)

1. when we arrive at Sukabumi we are so excited, get of from the bus and then one of my friend just realize that he forgot that the tripod still in that bus but the bus is already running so he hire a motorbike (ojek) to catch up that bus.... hahahaha
2. the incident of our lunch... "fettuccine streaky beacon without streaky beacon...
3. and a lot of our silliness that we made in there... ;)
